Pipeline Framework: Construction of working platform – Rookhope

A pipeline has been launched for Construction of working platform – RookhopeThe contract start Date is 31 July 2019. Approach to market date is 28 January 2019Deliverables from this requirement will be to construct a semi-working platform around the lift shaft at our site at Rookhope and the removal of the in-situ lift car and any unsafe components from the headworks. The platform will be required to enable the erecting and operating of equipment to support a pump and lines (pump test not included in this contract). The location of this site is as followsDL13 2DG- known as Rookhope.A design package will be provided detailing the works required to gain safe access to the shaft under the retained headworks, including any required ground and structure stabilisation works.Please note that any future procurement will be subject to a separate advertisement.We would like to invite enquiries from interested parties so as to enable them to better understand our requirements.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
