Pipeline Framework: Daily Living Aids including Walking Aids

A pipeline has been launched for Daily Living Aids including Walking Aids.The contract start Date is 01 November 2019. Approach to market date is 05 February 2019.National framework agreement for the supply of aids for daily living, including but not limited to crutches, ferrules, walking sticks, walking frames, rollators, walkers, walking aid spare parts, bathing aids, bathing and/or toileting aids, bedroom aids, home aids and toileting aids. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 7 300 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. The estimated annual value over the total framework agreement term (including any extension options) = GBP 28 960 000.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
