Pipeline Framework: Destination Management System (Visit Brighton website)
A pipeline has been launched for Destination Management System (Visit Brighton website).The contract start Date is 1 April 2022. Approach to market date is 5 July 2021.VisitBrighton is the Destination Marketing Organisation (DMO) for Brighton & Hove which helps support and grow Brighton’s local economy. VisitBrighton is funded by Brighton & Hove City Council and commercial revenue from citywide tourism businesses.VisitBrighton will be inviting tenders for the design, development and supply of a new website www.visitbrighton.com, includng a Destination Management System (DMS). The tender will include hosting facilities and ongoing maintenance and support for three years after launch of the site.The website, including the DMS, is core to our business and is a comprehensive source of tourism information from all sectors of the visitor economy. Visitbrighton.com is recognised as the leading official destination website for Brighton & Hove, receiving over 2million visitors in 2019.We wish to commission a new website to grow and develop the success of the existing site, ranking highly on leading search engines for key search terms from organic listings whilst increasing the quantity and quality of visitors to the site.Interested parties should email an expression of interest with DMS2022 (Attn SW) in the title line to procurement@brighton-hove.gov.ukThis is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
