Pipeline Framework: Electrosurgical Consumables and Related Accessories

A pipeline has been launched for Electrosurgical Consumables and Related Accessories.The contract start Date is 26 July 2025. Approach to market date is 27 August 2024.This Framework Agreement is for the supply of Electrosurgical consumables, this includes but not limited to Patient Plate Return Electrodes, Electrosurgical Pencil Electrodes, Smoke Evacuation Pencils, Diathermy Suction Coagulators, Diathermy Forceps, Smoke evacuation machines and Related Consumables. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £12,000,000 to £15,000,000 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
