Pipeline Framework: Fresh Fish supply for Retail and Hospitality Catering

A pipeline has been launched for Fresh Fish supply for Retail and Hospitality CateringThe contract start Date is 30 January 2019. Approach to market date is 14 December 2018UCSP is wholly owned subsidiary if the University of Plymouth and is responsible for all retail and hospitality catering across its Campus locations as well as several external contracts. UCSP is looking for a fish vendor to supply fresh and frozen fish to its catering units on a daily basis and with closely with our Chef brigade to ensure the best of in season and sustainable fish is bought and used. As a key partnership relationship, UCSP is looking to work with suppliers that bring an innovative way of thinking to the relationship to ensure the mutual success of the contract. On average 50 fillets of white fish are used on a daily basis with smaller quantities of other smoked fish and seafood. Throughout the year the total spend 2017/2018 was c£30,000 inc.VAT.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
