Pipeline Framework: Interactive Studio Health and Fitness Equipment Solution
A pipeline has been launched for Interactive Studio Health and Fitness Equipment Solution. The contract start Date is 1 August 2024. Approach to market date is 15 July 2024.The Borough Council of Newcastle-under-Lyme’s Leisure Services Department is exploring opportunities to install a piece of innovative interactive health and fitness equipment at its Jubilee2 leisure facility. We are looking for potential providers who can demonstrate that use of their proposed equipment is able to evidence health improvement outcomes both physical/mental and cognitive, which will enhance/improve resident’s wellbeing and assist in reducing health inequalities in our Borough. In addition, it is an aspiration of the Council that the chosen system will be able to deliver bespoke programmes and assessments to support the Councils exercise ‘ReferAll’ pathways – supporting Adult, Junior, Cardiac, Cancer, Escape Pain, Slip Trips and Falls, Dementia etc.We are looking to install this piece of equipment in a small studio area circa 80sqm which will increase opportunities for the delivery of a new physical activity experience, create a unique selling point for Jubilee2, attract new audiences as well as providing the opportunity to increase revenue and maximise studio occupancy levels. This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly. When a public sector organisation publishes a pipeline notice, it does not necessarily mean that an opportunity will be offered in the future. For more information contact: Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, Castle House, Barracks Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 1BL.
