Pipeline Framework: Lancashire Victim Services
A pipeline has been launched for Lancashire Victim Services. The contract start Date is 1 April 2025. Approach to market date is 22 July 2024.In meeting its obligations to the Ministry of Justice and in line with the priorities of the Police and Crime Commissioner, we will be looking to commission services that support to victims of crime, whether or not they chose to report this to the Police. The full specification and model design is still in development however, this could potentially include triage, individual assessment of needs and risk, needs-led provision of emotional and practical support, support with the criminal justice process and advocacy. It would provide an enhanced service to those entitled under the Victim’s Code of Practice. The service would potentially incorporate support for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual abuse or sexual assault, including Independent Domestic Violence Advisor and Independent Sexual Violence Advisor services. The Commissioner is intending to undertake a market engagement event on Thursday 4th July 2024 via MS Teams. Should you wish to attend please submit your contact details to the below. This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly. When a public sector organisation publishes a pipeline notice, it does not necessarily mean that an opportunity will be offered in the future. For more information contact: Lancashire Constabulary, PO BOX 100, County Hall, PRESTON PR1 0LD.
