Pipeline Framework: London Borough of Barking & Dagenham – Ripple Nature Reserve Design Contract
A pipeline has been launched for London Borough of Barking & Dagenham – Ripple Nature Reserve Design Contract. The contract start Date is 3 June 2024. Approach to market date is 5 April 2024.The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is seeking interest from consultants who can prepare and draft a design for the Ripple Nature Reserve. This project will require collaboration with the stakeholder group throughout the design process. There should be careful consideration of the design criteria set out in the documentation provided by LBBD.This is site with lots of resident interest and is a hugely important ecological site for the Borough with SINC classification. It has been closed for 10 years but this design will help to get the site reopened to the public. The successful bidder will have to report directly to LBBD.Consultants are expected to produce several key elements of this work:- Demonstrate understanding of the site and the historical and ecological context- Assessment of the needs of the stakeholder groups- Produce a high-quality design that takes into account the different needs of the stakeholders- Produce a design that meets the criteria laid out in the design brief and present the findings where appropriateThe Council is keen to progress this work rapidly so it is important to meet the deadlines set out in the tender. The contract price is capped at £40,000 excluding VAT.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly. When a public sector organisation publishes a pipeline notice, it does not necessarily mean that an opportunity will be offered in the future. For more information contact: London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Town Hall Square, 1 Clockhouse Avenue, Barking IG11 7LU.
