Pipeline Framework: Pennywell Regeneration Project
A pipeline has been launched for Pennywell Regeneration Project.The contract start Date is 6 November 2022. Approach to market date is 6 December 2021.Gentoo are seeking to procure a Contractor to deliver a very large refurbishment Programme within the Pennywell Estate of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.The Pennywell Estate has 1,185 properties under the ownership of Gentoo – all of which are to receive some form of works as part of this programme.The scope of works is inclusive of the following:- Re-roofing;- Window replacements;- Wall tie replacements;- External decoration;- Replacement of boundaries/fencing/gates; and- Various other external repairs.All works will take place within the Pennywell Estate.The programme is to commence in Summer 2022 and complete in late 2024.The anticipated value of the entire programme is approximately £17 million, excluding VAT.Should you wish to express interest in bidding for this work, please express your interest to stephen.walker@gentoogroup.com providing details of your Organisation and contact details for Tender updates.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
