Pipeline Framework: Prestwood Common Track
A pipeline has been launched for Prestwood Common Track. The contract start Date is 15 June 2020. Approach to market date is 31 May 2020.Construction of approximately 525m track at 1.5m wide around the perimeter of Prestwood Common. This includes four link paths at the respective entrances. The track is intended as an all weather track for the purpose of walking and jogging and must be of a suitable surface for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The material used needs to be environmentally friendly, offer effective drainage, be durable and easily maintainable. A cinder type surface is initially being considered with a requirement for a 150cm sub-base.
