Pipeline Framework: Provision of Car Valeting
A pipeline has been launched for Provision of Car Valeting. The contract start Date is 8 March 2021. Approach to market date is 8 February 2021.An opportunity is due to come to market in the near future for the valeting of DVLA’s Vehicle Fleet. This will likely be a 5 year contract and awarded following an open-competition of all interested suppliers. There are currently 20 vehicles including cars, vans and minibuses used for DVLA operational activities. These require professional valeting (including an anti-bacterial finish) on a periodic basis. It is estimated that this would amount to 5 times per year, per vehicle, this is subject to change. The suppliers, will expect to adhere to (and provide evidence to this affect) DVLA’s Modern Slavery Policy and would expect to be located in an appropriate location to easily facilitate the service at the Swansea site. All queries including whether you would like to bid should be addressed toandrew.williams@dvla.gov.uk.Information about how to apply will be published via Contracts Finder (likely to be early February 2021).This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly. When a public sector organisation publishes a pipeline notice, it does not necessarily mean that an opportunity will be offered in the future. For more information contact: Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency, Longview Road, Clase, Swansea SA67JL, Tel: 01792 782475.
