A pipeline has been launched for Removal of Chalara (ash dieback) infected Ash & associated tree surgery in North England Forest District.The contract start Date is 1 February 2022. Approach to market date is 13 December 2021.Forestry England will be awarding a framework for the dismantling and felling of ash trees infected with Chalara (ash dieback) and other associated operations tree surgery operations in the North England Forest District. The framework will be divided into four geographical Lots: Kielder, Hamsterley, Rothbury, wider North England Forest District.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
