A pipeline has been launched for Reprocessing of Sterile Bifurcated Needles.The contract start Date is 01 May 2019. Approach to market date is 01 May 2019.This prior information notice is for a contract opportunity comprising of the collection in phases (from various UK depots) of 62 469 100 bifurcated needles, to then be re-sterilized, re-packaged and delivered back to various depots across the UK with a 5 year sterility shelf life by the following dates:Date quantity:02/2020 6 467 10005/2020 8 001 00006/2020 8 000 00007/2020 16 001 00008/2020 8 000 00009/2020 8 000 00010/2020 8 000,00All legislation and certification must be followed and obtained in order for the product to be suitable for its original manufactured purpose. (including CE Certification).It is anticipated that the value of this contract will be in the region of 1 600 000 GBP, however this is approximate only.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
