KBS Maritime are delivering an ambitious, modern and enduring change to the Portsmouth Naval base infrastructure, securing investment in the local community and ensuring fit-for-purpose, world-leading fleet support for the Royal Navy and the UK in the decades ahead.Part of the UK Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP), KBS Maritime will provide technology-led and data-driven facilities management and dockside services at the base.4x passenger lifts require lifecycle replacements/repair (8 person, 8 Storey)Tenderer shall provide report detailing current condition of lifts, shafts, and plantrooms.1- Shaft size and condition; including lift pit depth and lift overrun height.2- Whether compliant with current regulations.3- If shaft vent provisions are adequate.4- If power supplies are adequate for new lifts.5- Whether telephone line is operational and available.6- Whether fire alarm links for grounding lift are operational and available.7- If there is adequate plant space for new equipment.8- If there is adequate ventilation.9- Smoke detector provisions.All issues picked up within report are rectified to ensure compliance with current regulations. Including details of all improvement works, mechanical or structural, required as part of the proposed works.Tenderer shall provide quotation for all works to replace/repair lifts and to ensure compliance with current regulations.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
