Approach to market date is 5 July 2023.”Project Location:The Tenderer should be aware that the works detailed in this package are constrained due to the nature of the location they are to be conducted in.The project is located within a MoD site (HM Naval Base Portsmouth) and as such contractors shall be expected to adhere by the HMNB site security requirements. All Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to be security vetted (BPSS minimum) and will be required to hold the relevant site security passes. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to arrange and fund clearance applications for all persons required to attend site.Brief description of requirementsThe survey and inspection of all service covers and pitsThe removal, replacement and repair of highlighted priority service covers and pitso Lifting and inspection of all service covers and pits where not liftedo The removal of top courses of brickwork and recasting of a new concrete ring beamo The removal and replacement of any structural elements deemed unsafe, including underground ductwork or the install of a new element where required to support the structure.o Installation of new E600 (as minimum) rated solid top service covers, Fiberlite, (F900 rated optional)Excavation of existing tarmac surface (and subgrade where required)Reinstatement of Road formationReinstatement of carriageway line markingsReinstatement parking surface and line markingsDisposal waste – recycle where is feasibleThis is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
