Approach to market date is 1 September 2021.Midland Heart are looking for a high quality solution for the Call Monitoring System, from quality providers that deliver a service that is demonstrably focused around the needs of Midland Heart.Midland Hearts Retirement Services consists of 110 schemes spread with a total of 3194 individual properties which are a mix of Composite blocks and bungalows, which includesGeneral Needs properties,Care and Support properties,Home Options (Leasehold and Shared Ownership) properties andMutual Properties.The core clients served by this contract are service users who have Warden Call Alarm equipment supplied and monitored over 24 hours per day/365 days per year.There is a mix of equipment throughout the estate, properties may have the following tele care equipment:A pull cord in every room and in communal areas such as lounges, corridors, stairwells, laundries and liftsA system linked to Flood Detectors, Fall Monitors, Wandering Alarms, Door entry systems and to building fire detection systems – listed belowMonitoring, includes monitoring of all Telecom alarms, including communal units, smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors and all other fire detection systems.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
