Pipeline Framework: Wound Drainage, Autologous Blood Systems and Related Accessories
A pipeline has been launched for Wound Drainage, Autologous Blood Systems and Related Accessories.The contract start Date is 1 April 2024. Approach to market date is 1 February 2024.The scope of this Framework Agreement is to cover the supply of products and their associated consumables and accessories for Wound Drainage, Post Operative and Intra Operative Autologous Blood System products.This Prior Information Notice is for a 1 year (with option to extend for up to 12 months) contract Framework Agreement for products that fall into the Wound Drainage and Autologous Blood Systems category. The intention for this procurement is to align this Framework Agreement with a merged opportunity that also has a PIN in the market – Suction Consumables, Wound Drainage, Autologous Blood Systems and Accessories (2023/S 000-004236). If you have products that suit this particular procurement, please be aware of the other opportunity that you should also register interest for: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be circa £3,450,000 in the first year of this Framework Agreement; however, this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. The estimated value of the total Framework Agreement term (including any extension options) is circa £6,900,000.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
