Plans approved for 2,500 New Eastern Villages homes
Plans to build 2,500 homes at the New Eastern Villages extension in Swindon have been backed.The scheme – brought forward by Ainscough Strategic Land – will create 220 construction jobs each year and contribute an estimated £18.8m per annum to the town’s economy.It covers 400 acres and has the benefit of a Local Plan allocation.As well as the homes, the scheme will comprise two primary schools, two local centres, a sports hub and pavilion and significant areas of open space.Avison Young Bristol, Planit-IE and EDP acted on the application.
