Plans approved for commercial unit overhaul
Proposals for a number of changes to a commercial space within a grade II-listed Newcastle building, which would create six units, have been approved.The application, filed by West Wicklow Property Three Ltd, earmarked the former Virgin Money branch at 22-28 Pilgrim Street and 2-4 Market Street for changes.Under the plans, the former store would be subdivided to form commercial units with new shopfronts to Pilgrim Street, Market Street and Hood Street.Newcastle City Council planners said the “application would comply with the relevant local plan polices”.
