Plans approved for job-creating commercial scheme
Plans to develop a new commercial unit in Milton Keynes which will support the expansion of a diagnostic products supplier in the city have been given the green light.Coal Pensions Properties Ltd filed an application to build a 20,020 sq ft property on land north of Garamonde Drive in Wymbush.The unit is known as Optima 20 and lies next to Optima 130, home to Thyssen Krupp Aerospace, and Optima 50, which is yet to be built.Sysmex house, occupied by haemostasis and haematology analyser developer Sysmex, is also located on the plot.According to plans filed by PRC Architecture & Planning on behalf of Coal Pension Properties, Sysmex is “keen” to set up a distribution centre near its base at Sysmex House and is set to occupy the new building.Milton Keynes planners approved the application subject to a number of conditions, including that the development begins within three years.
