Plans for 12-storey apartment block revealed
Plans for a building up to 12-storeys high with room for more than 100 apartments in Birmingham have been revealed by the company behind another development in Digbeth.Prosperity Developments is working with the Gooch Estate on the new scheme for Kent Street which, if approval is granted by Birmingham City Council, will contain 116 flats and also feature two commercial unit, one of which has been earmarked as a craft beer bar.Last week, The Gooch Estate agreed to grant a long lease to Prosperity on the condition that planning permission is secured.The site is the former offices of the British Association of Social Workers and the Davenports Dares Bar and is located in the Southside area of the city.Prosperity Developments recently won permission from to construct 67 flats in a six-storey building in Moseley Street.
