Plans for almost 3,000 homes to be showcased
Plans for almost 3,000 homes in Leicestershire and business space which could create 2,500 jobs are set to go on show this week.The proposals for the 550-acre development near Lutterworth were revealed at the start of March and include 2,750 new homes as well as 247 acres of green space and two primary schools.A total of 56.8 acres of retail and business space is also being applied for.Leicestershire County Council is behind the scheme which has been submitted to Harborough District Council for consideration. A final decision is expected to be made in the summer.Residents can view the plans and speak to officers at an exhibition in Lutterworth on Friday 22 March.If approved, the development would also feature a community hub with shops, restaurants, cafes, a health centre and a community hall.
