Plans for houses on site of Haverhill’s William Blake Court
Sheltered accommodation which has housed elderly people in Haverhill for over 40 years is set to be knocked down and replaced with affordable housing.At a council meeting on 18 April, representatives from Havebury Housing Association and their architects announced plans to knock down William Blake Court off Cambridge Close and replace it with one and two-bedroom houses.William Blake Court was built in 1971 and housed elderly people until 2014.
