Plans for key Leeds sites to be presented

A trio of developments on key sites in Leeds are set to be presented to the council next week (10 May 2018). The pre-application proposals could provide a range of new residential, office and hotel units.Developer X1 Developments is proposing a residential scheme on the former Evans Halshaw site in the South Bank of the City Centre.Its development would comprise a total of 928 flats spread across five buildings, ranging in size from six to 20 storeys in height.It would feature a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom flats with multi -storey townhouses provided at the ground and first floors of each block. A 5 per cent affordable housing contribution is proposed.A number of small-scale office, retail, gym and café/bar units would be created on the ground floor, measuring a total of 12,900 sq ft, while 320 parking spaces would also be provided.Idé Real Estate will present its plans for a complex of listed properties including the Leonardo Building (pictured), Thoresby House and 2 Great George Street.
