Plans in for 100-home development

Plans have been lodged for more than 100 homes as part of the latest phase of a Hull residential development.Compendium Living, in partnership with Lovell and Together Housing, has submitted a reserved matters application to Hull City Council for Phase 2B of the redevelopment of Ings.The application covers the site of the former Ealing, Chelsea and Shoreditch Closes.Planning permission is sought for 100 houses with a mix of two, three and four-bedroom units. The proposed development also includes a small children’s home.Compendium Living has said it will work with Hull City Council, Together Housing and the Humber LEP to develop supply chains in the recent and support jobs creation.A design and access statement prepared as part of the application said the proposal “represents the clear intent of the Compendium Living team to continue the regeneration of the new Ings development which will regenerate the neighbourhood, taking into account and building upon the extensive consultation and design development process that has been pursued to date”.The design team for the project comprises architect and urban designer BDP, landscape architects re-form, and drainage and highways engineer Curtins.
