Plans have been filed for a new garden village in West Oxfordshire, which would provide 2,200 new homes, green space and a country park.Grosvenor Britain & Ireland has submitted an outline application for the site to the north of Eynsham. The parcel of land was earmarked as one of 14 garden villages endorsed by the government in 2017.The scheme will feature energy efficient dwellings and will also encourage walking and cycling. The application is the largest to date for Grosvenor’s strategic land division, which aims to have a portfolio of at least 30,000 homes by 2023. AECOM is planning consultant for the project, with Terence O’Rourke delivering design and masterplanning and Stantec providing engineering support.
