Plans in for new leisure centre
Plans for a new leisure centre in a Nottinghamshire town have been submitted.Ashfield District Council is behind the application which has been “moulded with the user experience in mind”.If approved, it will include a 25m pool, sports hall, including a cinema, health and fitness suite, two multi-activity studios and an indoor adventure climbing wall.If the go-ahead is given, work is due to start in the autumn.The current Festival Hall Leisure Centre site will remain open during the build of the new leisure facility.Once the centre is open, the current building would be demolished and make way for additional car parking.
