Plans in pipeline for major Hampshire industrial scheme
Plans are in the pipeline for a Hampshire development that could provide 2.9 million sq ft of commercial space, new documents have revealed.Newlands Developments is exploring the potential for a scheme on land at Oakdown Farm on Winchester Road in Basingstoke.The site spans 111 acres and is located on either side of the M3.An environmental impact assessment scoping report, lodged by Avison Young on behalf of Newlands, revealed permission could be sought for 2.9 million sq ft of commercial and industrial floorspace.All matters are reserved.The document said there are currently “limited employment opportunities at the site”.
