Plans in the pipeline for mixed-use Milton Keynes project

Plans are in the pipeline to transform a plot of land in the centre of Milton Keynes into an 18-storey mixed-use development featuring hundreds of homes, commercial space and a multi-storey car park.A screening opinion submitted to Milton Keynes Council revealed Aubrey Place on Avebury Boulevard has been earmarked for the project. Palmer Capital Partners is behind the scheme.The development could include up to 329 residential units spread over two buildings rising to nine and 18 storeys respectively.There would be more than 2,500 sq ft of commercial floorspace at the ground floor, as well as car parking facilities.The area is also home to 100 Avebury Boulevard, a major new office development which is set to open in 2019.The formal screening opinion as to whether the proposals would require an Environmental Impact Assessment was submitted on behalf of Palmer by Rapleys.
