Plans lodged for 12-storey apartment building
Plans have been lodged for the redevelopment of a site in Birmingham to enable the creation of a 12-storey apartment building.Prosperity Developments is seeking the go-ahead from Birmingham City Council to transform the site of 16 Kent Street.Present uses at the site include offices and a bar/nightclub at ground floor. Existing buildings on the site rise to three storeys.The new 12-storey building would provide 116 apartments, comprised of 64, two-bed and 52, one-bed units. Two ground floor commercial units are also provided.Additionally, the scheme will be car free with secure covered cycle parking provided at ground floor level.
