Plans lodged for affordable Liverpool homes
Plans have been lodged for an affordable housing scheme which comprises more than 90 homes in Liverpool.South Liverpool Homes wants to construct 92 units, incorporating 57 houses and two apartment buildings with 35 apartments on land to the east of Conleach Road and to the south of South Parade.The units would be positioned across a string of development sites in Speke, the majority of which are residual land which has historically been cleared following the demolition of former buildings.The development is predominantly for semi-detached houses in a combination of two, three and four bedrooms.According to a design and access statement, the proposed houses would be made available for either affordable rent, rent to buy or shared ownership, while all bungalows and apartments within the scheme will be made available for affordable rent.Liverpool City Council will review the application in due course.
