Ten car parking spaces are also proposed. The development is expected to create five full-time jobs.A planning statement submitted as part of the application said: “The proposed development would boost the local economy, both in the short term during the construction process and also in the long term through the expansion of an existing business and the resultant employment opportunities.”A letter from Siemens energy in support of the proposed development added: “The approval of CH Power Tools Ltd’s planning application is not only vital to their continued support to out operations but also has broader implications for job creation and regional economic development. The proposed expansion will result in the creation of several job opportunities, contributing positively to the local workforce.””Furthermore, the successful implementation of this project in Doncaster will free up valuable space at our Newcastle site, which is earmarked to support a major green energy project.”The planning application has been supported by JCA Ltd and Dart Engineers Ltd.
