Plans lodged for Houghton Le Spring housing scheme
Plans have been submitted for a residential scheme of 38 homes on land in Houghton Le Spring.Town planning consultancy Planning House is seeking permission for the development on behalf of applicant Karbon Homes, a housing association that employs nearly 800 people and manages almost 30,000 properties across the North East and Yorkshire.The plans for Hutton Close were submitted to Sunderland City Council and consist of 17 two bedroom houses, 18 three bedroom houses and three four bedroom houses.Partner Construction is in charge of the development of the project, with the homes being designed by architectural services company Ergo Projects.Karbon’s planning statement said that an unspecified number of jobs will be created in the provision and construction of the new homes.
