Plans revealed for £40m retirement community
Plans have been revealed for a £40m Sutton Coldfield retirement community intending to provide almost 140 homes.The development will be the sixth to be brought forward as part of the partnership between Anchor, a not-for-profit provider of specialist housing and care, and McCarthy Stone, a developer and manager of retirement communities.Proposals, located in the town centre on the former Royal Works site, would provide a total of 138 retirement apartments, including 53 properties for sale for those aged 60 and over, and 85 affordable homes.A planning application is expected later in 2022.
