Plans revealed for housing and care development
Artists impression of how the new Bridport Care community could lookDorset Council has revealed plans for a new care and residential development in Bridport.The authority is working with developers and social housing providers, to plan, finance and build a new care community in the town that will include a new care home with nursing and dementia facilities, supported living accommodation, and accommodation for key health and social care staff.BICL, a partnership of Morgan Ashley Care Developments and East Boro Housing Trust while Shaw Healthcare has been appointed to design, build and run the Nursing and Dementia Care Home.Both organisations will work with Dorset Council to develop the plans ready for a formal planning application, with completion planned for Spring 2021.
