Plans revealed for job-creating pizza venue
Plans to breathe life into a former laundrette in Exeter by transforming it into a site that would “contribute to the economic viability” of the area have been revealed.Mckenna Architectural Design has been appointed to the project, which concerns an asset at 35 Magdalen Road.Proposed is changing the use of the site and transforming it into a pizza restaurant.The application notes that the wide area is “wholly commercial”, adding that the creation of a new SME which will contribute to economic viability is “supported within the Core Strategy document of the council”.If backed, it would also be expected to provide jobs in the area.The application is with Exeter City Council.
