Plans submitted for 13 metre training tower at Cheltenham’s Keynsham Road fire station
Gloucestershire County council, which has overall responsibility for Gloucestershire Fire and rescue Service, has applied for planning permission to build a training tower 13 metres high at the station.The application said: “With the development of the new fire stations during 2011 it was decided to spread the training facilities across a number of sites with Road Traffic Collision training at Gloucester North and Cheltenham east and breathing apparatus training and general firefighting at Gloucester South and Cheltenham West.”
