Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has made a full detailed planning application to North Lanarkshire Council for 137 new homes through the development of land west of Carnbroe Road, near Coatbridge. The application sets out the housebuilder’s proposals for housing mix, landscaping, and building materials. The plans include a mix of two and three-bedroom terrace and semi-detached, as well as four-bedroom detached homes.Martin Findlay, technical director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said, “We are delighted to confirm that we have made a major detailed planning application for the development of further land off Carnbroe Road, Carnbroe near Coatbridge. Following the launch of new homes for sale late last year at our existing Calder Wynd development, this planning application represents our significant and continued investment in the local area by Taylor Wimpey West Scotland. We look forward to positive discussions with the local authority to progress this development.“As well as an impressive range of new homes, our proposed development will also provide a range of economic benefits for the local Carnbroe area. This includes supporting new jobs for every year of construction, as well as the attraction of new customers to local businesses from those who choose to live in one of the new homes this development aims to deliver.”
