Plans submitted for development of PRS apartments

Plans have been lodged for a development of more than 50 private rented sector (PRS) apartments on the edge of Sheffield city centre.On behalf of Beluga Projects Ltd, Johnson Mowat Planning and Development Consultants, working with Niemen Architects, has submitted a full planning application to Sheffield City Council for a development of 52 apartments.It represents Beluga Projects’ with its first project in Yorkshire.The new building will comprise 34 one-bedroom and 18 two-bedroom apartments on a site located at the junction of London Road and Hill Street, about five minutes’ walk from Sheffield city centre.The development aims to bring about the efficient redevelopment of a sustainably located brownfield site close to the city centre. The high density form of development is also designed to make a significant contribution towards the city’s housing land supply and affordable housing targets.Beluga Projects was supported by Andrew Moseley Associates, Futures Ecology, Wardell Armstrong, Novo Integration, ARP, Brennan Consult and ENS.
