Plans submitted for new Harrogate trampoline park
A planning application has been submitted to Harrogate Borough Council to create a 40,000 sq ft trampoline park and indoor activity centre.Plans have been submitted by Gojumpin to develop an indoor trampoline park on Hornbeam Park close to Harrogate College.The Slough-headquartered business has sites in Tonbridge, Coventry, Enfield, Slough, Warwick, Walsall and Shrewsbury and plans for further developments in Poole, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.Planning was approved for five commercial buildings to be built on the wider site and be operated for industrial business use.It has now proposed that the building on the corner of Hornbeam Park Avenue and Hornbeam Park Oval becomes a leisure destination.Across the three-storey building, the majority of the activity will take place on the upper ground floor that will contain the trampolines plus ancillary staff room, briefing room, WCs and a café.The lower ground floor is used for storage with a party area provided on the first floor.The redevelopment of the brownfield site will generate around 60 new jobs for the area and will also benefit from close proximity to Hornbeam Park railway station.
