Procast secures £16 million West Lothian Council contract
A principal contractor has announced a tender win with West Lothian Council worth £16m over four years.Glasgow-based retrofitting firm Procast specialises in bringing older properties up to modern standards.This latest win will see the business update many of the council’s properties, aligning them with the Social Housing Quality Standards.Over the next four years, more than 1,200 residents of West Lothian will see their homes get new kitchens and bathrooms, including any medical adaptations.In anticipation of the work ahead, Procast has opened a new depot in the region, housing site management teams and materials.Derek Innes, managing director of Procast, said: “As a business, Procast pride ourselves on our commitment to long-standing clients, and having repeat contract awards really showcases our work ethic and end product.”Having worked with West Lothian Council for more than 10 years, this contract award further demonstrates our ability to deliver a quality end product and achieve client and customer excellence.”We are also cementing our commitment to the region and this four-year project by opening a depot in Deans, Livingston to accommodate the materials and teams working on the project.”Don’t miss the latest headlines with our twice-daily newsletter – sign up here for free.
