Projects next phase set to move forward
The next phase of a major Birmingham residential project looks set to set to move forward.Birmingham City Council’s cabinet is to vote on whether to approve the full business case for the second phase of work at a scheme in Kings Norton at a meeting on 22 March.The council has built 259 homes across phases 1a and 1b. Part of the redevelopment included a retail store, with Aldi successful in bidding for the space and now operating in the area.The next phase includes two sites, Foyle Road and Redditch Road, and will provide 58 units for social rented housing and 24 for sale.Plans comprise three-, four- and five-bed houses, as well as one- and two-bedroom flats.
