In 2020, the PHR Programme contributed to this ambition by launching a new scheme which commissioned four Public Health Intervention Responsive Studies Teams (PHIRST). Due to the success of the scheme, PHR are now commissioning a fifth team.The purpose of this call for expressions of interest is to identify one new PHIRST to join the existing four. The new PHIRST will undertake responsive research with a focus on local government across the UK. The teams will be commissioned by the PHR Programme for a 5 year contract.5.
