Residential scheme on site of former convenience store set for approval
Plans for the residential redevelopment of a former supermarket site in Cardiff are set to move forward.The application relates to a location in Pentwyn approximately 6km north-east of Cardiff city centre which formerly comprised a Morrisons convenience store, and was previously in use as a public house and is now demolished.Permission is sought by Willis Construction for 28 apartments in one building, comprised of 20 two-bedroom apartments and 8 one-bedroom apartments. The proposals also include sustainable drainage, landscaping, car parking and associated infrastructure.The application has been recommended for approval ahead of a meeting next week.
