Revised Salford plans set for thumbs up
Revised proposals for a 394-strong residential scheme in Salford look set to be granted approval. The green light was granted in May 2018 for a development of five to nine storeys comprising 375 properties, ground floor commercial space and on-site car parking.Since then, the plot has been sold to ForHousing, which is behind the newest application.A host of changes have been made, including the addition of 19 apartments, revisions to the layout of the lower ground floor and the addition of a management office and post room. Any commercial space would also be reduced in size.Approval has now been recommended, with Salford City Council’s planning committee set to meet today (23 January).
