Santander Corporate & Commercial supports registered charity’s move to make the Fingal into a hotel at a cost of £5mThe Royal Yacht Britannia Trust has secured financial backing for its high profile redevelopment of a former lighthouse ship as a luxury floating boutique hotel and events venue.Santander Corporate & Commercial is supporting the registered charity’s move to make The Fingal into a hotel at a cost of £5 million.The Trust is converting The Fingal into a five-star hotel offering corporate hospitality and hosting events such as weddings.Fingal’s luxury cabins are named after Stevenson lighthouses, inspired by the rich maritime heritage and Scottish craftmanship. Its double height ballroom can host up to 80 guests.Currently The Royal Yacht Britannia cannot host daytime events as it is required to be open to the public under the constitution of the Trust
