Sale Magistrates Court redevelopment to progress
A scheme to build 84 homes at the former Sale Magistrates Court site is set to move forward.Trafford’s executive will be asked to back a recommendation concerning grant funding to support the implementation of the scheme.The project will see 38 apartments and 46 houses built on the old court site.The development has already received full planning consent, with work set to start on site later this year.A report to the executive on 27 September 2021 approved the council to proceed with the development.The GMCA has agreed to provide grant funding of £1.26m from the Brownfield Housing Fund to support the implementation of the scheme.The executive meets on Monday 21 March.
