Sale of former Bellahouston Academy annexe paves way for new affordable flats
The construction of 36 affordable flats with associated car parking at the site of an annexe of the former Bellahouston Academy in south west Glasgow has been given the green light by city planners.The social housing development will be carried out by AS Homes (Scotland), working in partnership with Home Group, which will assume ownership and management of the development upon completion, which is programmed for winter 2023.The sale of the 0.7-acre site, which once housed a now derelict gymnasium and swimming pool, was overseen by Graeme Todd of DM Hall who acted on behalf of the site’s owner, Rasul Group.
