Sewer Improvement Works To Begin In Springwell Park
NI Water has announced that its £220,000 sewage improvement works are set to move to Springwell Park, Co Down.The announcement comes as project works are almost complete on the A2 Groomsport bypass.Workers will lay 70m of combined sewer and associated manholes in Springwell Park, as far as the junction with Springwell Crescent.Lane closures will be in place on a short section of Springwell Park for approximately four weeks from 14 May. The project aims to upgrade the sewer infrastructure in order to reduce the risk of flooding and environmental pollution. It will also help improve the bathing waters in the sea.
