SGI secures £25.4m loan for new Thorpe Park office building
Scarborough Group International (SGI) has secured a £25.4m loan from Oaknorth Bank to support the development of a new office building at Thorpe Park Leeds.The new 133,118 sq ft office building will be occupied by credit management business Lowell, which agreed a 15-year lease on the building last month (February 2021).Thorpe Park Leeds currently comprises more than 800,000 sq ft of office space, supporting more than 5,500 jobs, with The Springs retail and leisure park at its heart.A further 1.3 million sq ft of mixed-use accommodation, including 300 new homes, and a 113-acre public park is planned.
